Is Vid8 free?
Yes. Discovery, your Roster, chat, and two Spark Meets every week are free. Vid8+ is optional if you want more room to connect.
What is a Spark Meet?
Your first date: a live 60-second video meet that the server ends on time. Afterward you each vote privately. Two yeses unlock a second date.
How do longer dates work?
After a Spark Meet you both loved, plan a 1 or 2-minute second date. Then pick any length together, from 5 minutes to an hour. Either of you can suggest a different length or time until you agree. Longer dates need Vid8+ from just one of you.
What happens when we become an item?
Either of you can ask to make it official. Once you both agree, you can plan video date nights up to 2 hours and pause your profiles from Discover.
Are Spark Meets recorded?
No. Spark Meets are live only. Vid8 does not record them.
What is a Roster?
A private list of people you would like to know. Adding someone never notifies them. Releasing them never sends a rejection.
Where do I get the app?
Vid8 is a mobile app for iPhone and Android. This website is for your account, billing, and support.
Who can join?
